REEDS CERAMICS
This range was originally inspired by my observations of parallel lines in nature - lines flowing over form, enhancing shape. I enjoy creating a feeling of depth on the surface of my ceramics through the layering of coloured bands and shapes beneath the finely painted lines.
The range is intended for use when serving food and the shapes are simple and practical.
Vitrified porcelain and stoneware with painted underglaze decoration. Pieces are wheel thrown and turned, and glazed internally.
